How long would it take for my credit score to go back up once I pay off my credit cards?

I have 2 credit cards that I am in the process of cleaning up and paying off. Once I get that sorted out, how long would it be before my credit score gets back to a better number?

Once you pay off old debt you have to rebuild your credit by making purchases and paying them off before they are due.It will take at least 2 years in most cases.Sometimes 36 months.Depends on if they are high end purchases or small ones.

The two updates your balance only once each month and the credit bureau updates there might be close to two.

The process from two to the credit reporting agencies and dispute it off then go to less than 30 days.
